GENERAL VIEWS: For the past number of years, I have been interested in the Trinity College Robot Home Firefighting Contest. I have built two robots for the competition thus far.
The robot above and to the left was my 2000 robot entry called ARFF. (Autonomous Robot Fire Fighter) It was stepper motor driven, and though I was registered for the contest, I did not qualify.
The robot above to the right is my 2001 entry. It is named ARFF-TTFS. (Autonomous Robot Fire Fighter, This Time For Sure!)
